O*NET Adds 350 New References to the Topical Listings

An Occupational Information Network (O*NET) advisory from the O*NET Online Resource Center was issued on the addition of 350 new references to the topical listings in its database.

Interactive O*NET Reference List Updated

The O*NET Resource Center has an interactive O*NET Reference List that showcases the extensive use of O*NET data, websites, applications, and tools.  This update adds 350+ new references. Explore over 2,400 research and product-oriented references.

Download a complete reference listing, or browse references by topic of interest.

Look into how O*NET information and tools were used. Direct linkages to each reference make it easy to access the wide variety of publications.

The Updated BLS Information Included in O*NET Websites

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released updated employment totals and projections.

The worker- and job-oriented framework can help in organizing workforce competencies, credentials, and other work-relevant information, and also serve as a starting point for creating skills thesauruses. Visit the Competency Frameworks section to discover these easy-to-use tools.

 

The frameworks are available in Excel format and also as machine-readable Linked Data, described using the CTDL-ASN schema (Credential Transparency Description Language Profile of Achievement Standards Network Description Language) developed by the Credential Engine project.
