About

This Census webinar gives an overview of the recently released 2022 Business Dynamics Statistics (BDS) time series and the BDS Explorer Tool, which provides access to the entire BDS dataset via line charts, bar charts, and thematic maps.

The time series provides measures of business dynamics, such as job creation and destruction, establishment births and deaths, and firm startups and shutdowns across a wide range of establishment and firm characteristics.

Statistical data from the ABS include the number of firms, sales/receipts, employment by sex, ethnicity, race, and veteran status, as well various other relevant topics.
